This not just a picture of me with Greta, Ben and my brother Brian dressed for Halloween this is a picture of four friends that have been friends forever! We have shared everything from Chicken pox, to mission trips to Dilivery room photo shoots. We have been together since the 70's OK so the late 70's but heck it's almost 30 years. That is a long time!!! Back then seat belts were not a requirement, sitting silent at church during the entire service at the age of 7 was. We have had good times and fun times as well as bad times and hard times. It seems like yesterday we were playing crawl tag and now Greta has been married for who knows how long, she has three kids and is wonder woman, martha stewart and Ester all wrapped up in one awesome momma! Ben is a professional, we don't what kind, but he always looks professional. He is the only one of us who owns his own home! Brian has one little boy and has a good job making good money. He has truly turned his life over to the Lord and has become a guy I really like! I am the wild horse of the group. I have been married to a tattooed man for six years, we live in the Philippines and cook with nothing but a toaster oven and a hot plate every day. We are each so different but we are connected because we are friends. because I live so far away I haven't seen any of them in person for at least six months, Brian and Ben went to Puerto Rico together last summer. Justin and I loved spending time with Greta's family before we moved. We are now blogging friends and are closer than ever! God brought us together so many years ago and he has pulled us through so many things! I am so grateful to him for my true best friends!

I am laughing so hard right now b/c I just now realized that you thought the bald guy was my husband...it's my brother! I just put two and two together! My brother is four years younger than me...but at around age 20 he started going bald and then just shaved it off. My husband, Shawn, has all his hair intact! But, it's funny b/c when I saw you guys I thought you reminded me of us. Funny!! Don't know why. Anyway, I have been trying to decide on a pic of us to put on my page. Also, I know what you mean about friends. I have been thinking the same thing this week. The Lord has blessed me with some awesome, God fearing friends. I thank HIM everyday! Some of us live very different lives but the Lord brought us together for various reasons. I hope you have a blessed day today. Praying for you and your church!
Cool thanks for the prayers! OK tha's funny about your brother because my younger brother is also going bald and has shaved his head. But most people mistake him for my mom's husband and not mine. Hehe I will add a picture of him just for you! And he is the one in the black dress much smaller then. These are not only our friends there dad is my families Pastor now. The story is long but my frined parents were in charge of visitations and my parents were new to the church. They came to visit my mom and dad before I was born and well the rest is History! Because I just started a little Bible study with one of my friends on facebook in Mark. Wow, thanks for the compliment--I've never been called an Esther before. Martha, yes but it is so not true. You should see the mess under my bed. It is always my goal to clean under there, but someone is ALWAYS sleeping in there, and it is just impossible. Maybe someday I won't have to share a room with anyone but my husband and then I can finally clean it.
Oh also, I posted a comment on the body hair post, but it didn't go through, so I am posting it again. Check it. Did you see Shannon commented on this photo on Lillandthebrothers? It is such a small world.
I am glad we all have eachother still, and I will really be missing you guys this Christmas. Let's celebrate some kinda holiday at my house when you guys come back. maybe everyone can come up here for a BBQ. Your fam and mine. That would be really fun! I love you.
